One of our great clients is seeking a dedicated Plant Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our mill and steel manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards, optimizing resources, and fostering a safe working environment.
As the Plant Manager, you will play a vital role in optimizing production processes, meeting production targets, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing plant. It is essential that the Plant Manager presents a professional image at all times.
Specific functions of the job include:
• Planning, organizing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the tube mill and metal manufacturing facility.
• Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
• Monitoring and analyzing production metrics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Collaborating with production supervisors and operators to ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications.
This position requires Monday-Friday availability with 10-hour shifts in Laurens, SC 29360. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, 5 years of management experience, and a background working within the steel industry.
